# Job Description: Building Information Management (BIM) Manager

## Job Purpose

To lead the global BIM strategy and execution for data center projects. This role bridges pre-sales and delivery by developing high-fidelity parametric models and visualizations for client RFPs, while establishing technical standards that ensure seamless design integration, product coordination, and construction support across the global project portfolio.

## Key Responsibilities

### 1. Pre-Sales Visualization & RFP Support (10%)

- Lead creation of BIM models, explanation drawings, and animations for client RFP responses

- Collaborate with Sales to produce technical marketing assets

- Provide automatic quantity take-offs for rapid-response budgetary planning

### 2. BIM Standards & Protocol Governance (10%)

- Create and manage in-house BIM standards (layers, line weights, annotations)

- Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and protocols

- Ensure consistency across the global portfolio

### 3. Product Integration & Library Management (15%)

- Partner with Product Team to develop and maintain BIM object library for internal and supplier equipment

- Ensure parametric models include accurate sizing and naming conventions

- Liaise with equipment vendors and material suppliers for latest BIM models

### 4. Team Leadership & BIM Support (45%)

- Govern and train a team of BIM technicians (based in Shanghai)

- Provide expert technical support for BIM software
