A global data center engineering specialist is seeking a Data Center Design Engineer (MEP) to lead the design, integration, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems across high-density mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead design and coordination of MEP systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators, cooling, CDUs, BMS, fire protection).

  
  


• 
  

  Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and scalability requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct FAT/iFAT/SAT, commissioning, and integrated testing (Cx L1–L5).

  
  


• 
  

  Drive performance optimisation, reliability, and compliance to IEC/IEEE/NFPA/ASHRAE standards.

  
  

Profile

• 
  

  Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  
  


• 
  

  8+ years’ experience in MEP design for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams and client-facing roles.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of liquid-cooling systems and energy efficiency metrics (PUE/WUE).

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to communicate in English and Arabic
