About the Role



We are currently hiring a CS / IMS Core Engineer to support a major telecom project in Cairo. This role focuses on voice core and IMS environments, supporting live network operations, troubleshooting, and service optimization within a large-scale operator environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Perform L1/L2 support for CS Core and IMS network elements

  • Troubleshoot voice call issues, signaling problems, and KPI degradation

  • Analyze call flows and signaling protocols (SS7, SIP, ISUP, MAP)

  • Monitor network performance, alarms, and logs

  • Support configuration, testing, and implementation activities

  • Execute health checks and support incident/change management processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution



Requirements




  • Solid experience in CS Core / IMS / Voice Core networks

  • Strong knowledge of: MSC, MGW, HLR, STP or IMS / SBC

  • Signaling protocols (SS7, SIP, ISUP, MAP, CAP)

  • Understanding of call flows, roaming, handover, and mobility procedures

  • Experience with troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance monitoring

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident/change management)

  • Good communication skills in English



Experience with Huawei CS/IMS systems is highly preferred
