Commercial Leader – South East Asia



Our client is a well-established international engineering and technology business, delivering critical solutions across industrial and infrastructure sectors.



With a strong global presence, they are known for combining technical capability with commercial execution, supporting customers on complex, large-scale projects.



The business is continuing to invest in high-growth regions and sectors, making this a key hire within their regional leadership team.



 



The Opportunity:



This is a senior commercial leadership role with full responsibility for driving growth across South East Asia.



You will lead a regional sales and service organisation, manage key strategic accounts, and take ownership of commercial performance, market expansion, and customer engagement.



The role offers a high level of autonomy and visibility, working closely with regional and global leadership.



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for South East Asia, driving sustainable revenue and margin growth

  • Own full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, pipeline management, and overall business performance

  • Lead and develop a multi-layered organisation (sales leaders, managers, and channel partners)

  • Drive strategic, solution-based selling across complex, long-cycle industrial opportunities

  • Build and expand relationships with key accounts, partners, and stakeholders across the region

  • Identify and unlock new market opportunities across industrial and infrastructure sectors

  • Strengthen service and aftermarket offerings to drive recurring revenue and customer retention

  • Collaborate closely with operations, product, and supply chain teams to ensure successful project delivery



 



What We're Looking For:




  • 15+ years' experience in industrial B2B sales, with a strong track record in leadership roles

  • Proven experience managing regional teams and channel partner networks

  • Demonstrated ownership of full P&L and delivery of commercial targets

  • Strong background in complex, solution-led sales environments

  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across OEMs, contractors, and end users

  • Exposure to South East Asia markets, with an understanding of regional dynamics

  • Strong leadership, communication, and commercial decision-making skills
