Core Network (VoLTE/IMS/EPC)

We're hiring on behalf of a global telecom partner for a long-term Core Network (VoLTE/IMS/EPC) project in Angola.

This role is ideal for engineers experienced in Ericsson and Huawei Core solutions, ready to take ownership of end-to-end VoLTE lifecycle management — from deployment and testing to optimization and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead E2E VoLTE Core deployment, integration, and optimization across Ericsson and Huawei environments.


• Perform advanced troubleshooting and network performance assurance across EPC and IMS domains.


• Drive Core network audits, KPI improvements, and service reliability.


• Collaborate with client engineering teams to align on operational and quality goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Core Network Engineering with VoLTE, IMS, EPC focus.


• Strong hands-on expertise with Ericsson and Huawei Core systems.


• Experience with CEM tools (e.g., Huawei SmartCare or similar).


• Degree in Telecom or Electrical Engineering.


• Fluent in Portuguese; English proficiency is an advantage.


• Willingness to be based in or travel frequently to Luanda, Angola.
