Role: Cisco ACI Engineer

Are you a hands-on Network Engineer with Cisco ACI expertise who’s ready to step up into a leadership role — or an experienced Team Lead seeking a more dynamic, end-to-end challenge?

We’re looking for a versatile Network Engineer / Team Lead to take ownership of a complex enterprise and data centre network environment. You’ll lead a talented team of 5 network engineers and 3 interns, oversee daily operations, and drive forward key ACI-focused initiatives across the business.

This role blends technical depth, team leadership, and architectural thinking — ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and shaping the evolution of a modern, scalable network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of network professionals to ensure smooth, high-performing network operations.


• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, load balancers, and data centre infrastructure.


• Own Cisco ACI environments: manage APIC, spine/leaf nodes, and tenant policy configurations.


• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring network issues and implement preventive measures.


• Support and manage configuration changes, patching, and upgrades across all network platforms.


• Design and implement scalable ACI policies (tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts) that meet business and security requirements.


• Lead ACI fabric expansion, migrations, and integrations (including multi-site or hybrid cloud environments).


• Contribute to broader networking projects involving routing/switching, wireless, firewalls, WAN optimization, and load balancing.


• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, standards, and diagrams.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional networking experience.


• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (APIC, spines, leaves, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, and contracts).


• Strong generalist knowledge across LAN/WAN, routing/switching, firewalls (Cisco or Checkpoint), wireless, load balancers (F5), and VPN technologies.


• Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols (VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP EVPN).


• Demonstrated leadership or team management experience, ideally managing small to medium-sized teams.


• A proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring others.
