Role: Executive Director – Strategy & Performance

Location: Libreville, Gabon

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the gaming and betting sector to appoint a high-impact Executive Director – Strategy & Performance. This is a critical leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, with full responsibility for driving strategy, commercial growth, and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.

The Opportunity

You will play a central role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision, while driving performance across commercial, marketing, and operational functions. This is a unique opportunity to influence large-scale transformation, digitalisation, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s overall growth strategy across products, channels, and partnerships


• Identify and unlock new revenue streams, including innovation and geographic expansion


• Lead performance management across key metrics such as revenue, Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), and network performance


• Drive commercial and marketing strategies across retail, digital, and key accounts


• Oversee and optimise customer acquisition, retention, and campaign ROI


• Ensure alignment between product offerings and evolving market demand


• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and strategic initiatives


• Drive transformation programmes including digitalisation and network modernisation


• Establish a strong, results-driven performance culture across the organisation

What We’re Looking For

• 10–15+ years’ experience in senior strategic and operational leadership roles


• Proven track record in driving growth, performance, and transformation


• Experience in relevant sectors such as gaming, betting, telecoms, fintech, FMCG, or distribution


• Strong understanding of operating within regulated environments


• Demonstrated leadership across commercial, marketing, and operational functions


• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities
