Job Title: Fibre Optic QC Inspector – Inter Array Cable (IAC) Type Testing & FAT

Scope Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support the inspection and testing of fibre optic cables as part of Inter Array Cable (IAC) production in Greece. This role will span from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through to final load-out, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Witness type testing and FAT procedures
• Endorse test reports and ensure alignment with standards (e.g. CIGRE 446, 490, 623, 722; IEC 63026)
• Raise and follow up on non-conformities (NCs)
• Complete and submit detailed daily inspection reports within 24 hours
• Witness and confirm Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) points
• Review compliance documentation including certifications and test data
• Liaise with client representatives and supplier teams on-site
• Ensure photographic documentation and HSE observations are recorded accurately
• Adhere to supplier HSE protocols and complete mandatory site inductions

Inspector Profile

• Strong QC background in IAC/fibre optic cable manufacturing
• Proven track record in FAT witnessing and formal inspection reporting
• Familiar with relevant industry standards and documentation processes
• Independent, detail-oriented, and confident in supplier engagement
