Job Description: (Senior) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Location: Remote in the UK
Objectives of this role:
? Develop, execute, and oversee a regional business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive
customer ratings
? Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
? Improve sales revenue
? Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
? Train sales professionals and help improve their skills
Tasks:
? Formulate and Implement annual market plans and sales targets for the designated region in UK &
Ireland.
? Work with Sales Managers and teams to implement annual market plans and targeted sales strategy.
? Managing the entire sales process from prospect to lead qualification, solution, condition negotiation,
offer preparation and follow-up. Delivering first-class customer service throughout the entire process.
? Build long-term and/or strategically relationships with new and existing customers by signing
cooperation agreements etc.
? Tracking customer satisfaction via surveys, identifying and addressing sources of dissatisfaction by
optimizing solutions and incorporating feedback.
? Organizing and managing customer database, by keeping all customer and leads information up to
date and providing reporting on relevant KPIs.
? Coordinating with internal teams, i.e. tendering, designers, product managers, commercial, legal and
marketing, to ensure the highest level of customer service.
? Contribute on building cross-functional and cross-culture teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long
-term growth.
? Proactively reaching potential customers by phone/emails/visits, researching about them using
secondary sources, presenting the innovative company offering, converting and and generating sales.
? Expands and improve the profile, presentations etc. and reach of the company and its brands.
? Attending conferences and industry events, conducts webinars and presentations to raise the brand or
product profile.
? Identifies and develops new business opportunities. Tracks emerging markets and trends in UK &
Ireland.
? Identifies and recommends new product & services . Provides advice on product development and
marketing and promotion strategies.
? Proposes and develops strategic partnerships to grow company business.
? Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them in UK
& Ireland.
? Identifies sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagement.

? Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
? Other tasks assigned by superior leaders.
Requirements:
? Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in
Submarine Power Cable industry or commercial working experience in Offshore Wind Farm /
Interconnector / Oil&Gas projects of Developers / TSOs /EPCI Contractors.
? Proven sales track record
? Proficiency in English
? Submarine Power Cable Market or Offshore Wind Farm industry knowledge in UK & Ireland
? Communication and contractual negotiation skills
? Drive and self-motivation
? Time management and planning skills
? Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
? Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
? With power cable system engineering experience and/or tendering background is plus.
