About the Role



We are partnering with a leading IT infrastructure and cybersecurity organisation seeking an experienced Business Development Executive. This is a high impact sales role focused on driving new business and managing key accounts across infrastructure, virualisation, hybrid cloud, and modern data centre solutions. 



You will be responsible for building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and closing deals across mid-market, enterprise, and public sector customers. A major portion of the portfolio will include Nutanix solutions, but you will also sell across a broader technology stack.

  • End-User Computing and Secure Digital Workspaces
  • Cybersecurity Solutions (EDR, MDR, XDR, Vulnerability Management, Email Security etc.)
  • Secure Access (ZTNA, SASE) and related services


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop new business and grow existing accounts across mid-market, enterprise and public-sector sectors
  • Identify, qualify and close opportunities across infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity
  • Lead structured technical discovery sessions and future-state discussions
  • Collaborate with technical teams for solution design, demos, PoCs and scoping
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and channel partners
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and account management
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline discipline, and consistent activity reporting


Requirements



  • 3+ years’ experience in IT business development or account management
  • Exposure to infrastructure, virtualisation, HCI, data centre, cloud platforms or VMware/Nutanix ecosystems 
  • Experience in cybersecurity solutions will be advantageous
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior IT stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading technical discovery and solution discussions
  • Familiarity with infrastructure refresh cycles, cloud migration drivers, and virtualisation strategy
  • Experience working with distributors, systems integrators, or vendor partner programs
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Hybrid work model
  • Remote work for the remainder of the week (suitable home fibre connection required)
