Role: Business Analyst 

6-Month Contract | Enterprise IT & Digital Environment

We’re partnering with a large, fast-moving telecommunications environment to secure an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for a BA who enjoys working close to the business, engaging directly with end users, and shaping solutions across BSS, ESS, and Digital platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Elicit and document requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, document reviews, and on-site engagement.


• Analyse and synthesise information from multiple business and technical sources.


• Produce clear, high-quality artefacts including business requirements, use cases, functional specs, and business rules.

Process & Solution Design

• Document end-to-end AS-IS and TO-BE processes.


• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.


• Propose practical, value-driven solution options.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with stakeholders across business and IT, including senior leadership.


• Facilitate discussions, manage expectations, and negotiate priorities.


• Collaborate across multiple teams and initiatives simultaneously.

Analysis & Problem Solving

• Translate high-level business objectives into detailed, actionable requirements.


• Resolve conflicting inputs and simplify complex data into meaningful insights.


• Contribute to business cases, KPIs, cost–benefit analysis, and risk assessments.

Delivery, Change & Quality

• Estimate analysis effort and manage BA-related activities within project timelines.


• Support RFPs and vendor selection where required.


• Develop test cases and support UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs.


• Support change initiatives through communication and stakeholder engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years’ Business Analysis experience within the telecommunications industry.


• Strong exposure to IT systems (BSS, ESS, Digital platforms).


• Proven experience working directly with end users.


• Solid understanding of telecoms business processes.


• Experience in mixed enterprise environments (in-house and third-party systems).


• Familiarity with BABOK / IIBA standards, tools, and documentation templates.

Qualifications

• IIBA / BABOK certification (Level 2 advantageous) or


• Relevant degree (BTech / BCom Informatics or similar).
