AVP, Business Development (Southeast Asia & China)

Lead Growth Across High-Potential Markets
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven AVP, Business Development to lead partnership growth across Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam) and China. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and building a high-performing business development organization across the region.
You will own the regional partnerships strategy, develop key industry relationships, and play a pivotal role in shaping market expansion and commercial success.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional partnership strategies across IBs, Affiliates, Money Managers, and Strategic Partners.
- Build, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of partners from acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion.
- Drive revenue growth, trading volume, client acquisition, and market share across the region.
- Monitor commercial performance, forecast results, and implement action plans to exceed targets.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Business Development Managers, creating a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Strengthen relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, educators, influencers, and strategic networks.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, seminars, and partner engagements.
- Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful local campaigns and partner initiatives.
- Develop business plans, budgets, and growth strategies aligned with regional objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 7-10+ years of experience in FX/CFD brokerage, online trading, financial services, fintech, or a related sector.
- Proven success driving partnership-led growth and managing strategic partner networks.
- Strong leadership experience managing sales or business development teams.
- Deep understanding of trading products, client acquisition, and commercial performance metrics.
- Excellent commercial acumen, forecasting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrix organizations with regional and global stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations.
Mandatory Requirements
? Native or business-fluent Mandarin is mandatory due to the significant focus on the China market.
? Strong English communication skills are required.
