Associate Supplier Performance and Contract Management – Dubai
Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading multinational Telecommunication organization for an Associate Manager - Supplier Performance & Contract Management professional to join a high-performing Procurement Excellence function.
This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic, cross-functional environment focused on supplier performance management, contract governance, vendor compliance, procurement analytics, SLA monitoring, and supplier risk management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring suppliers deliver against contractual commitments while supporting continuous improvement, contract optimization, procurement best practice, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Performance Management
- Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Produce supplier scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support supplier reviews, governance forums, and stakeholder feedback consolidation.
- Contribute to supplier performance frameworks and best practices.
- Contract Management & Governance
- Support the drafting, review, and ongoing management of supplier contracts in partnership with legal and procurement teams.
- Ensure contracts comply with business requirements, governance standards, and procurement policies.
- Monitor contract compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Coordinate renewals, amendments, extensions, and contract close-out activities.
- Maintain contract documentation, templates, and governance records.
- Supplier Risk & Vendor Governance
- Manage supplier categorization, segmentation, and classification programmes.
- Monitor supplier risk relating to performance, delivery, financial stability, and compliance.
- Support supplier watchlists, remediation plans, and escalation processes.
- Calculate supplier penalties, service credits, and other contractual remedies.
- Assist with supplier qualification, requalification, and offboarding activities.
- Procurement Analytics & Reporting
- Generate supplier performance and contract management reports.
- Analyze supplier data and provide actionable insights.
- Track procurement and supplier KPIs, compliance measures, and service delivery outcomes.
- Support data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting and analytics.
- Maintain vendor master data and supplier records within procurement systems.
- Continuous Improvement & Procurement Excellence
- Support procurement transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Help develop standardized supplier performance and contract management processes.
- Participate in cross-functional and agile project teams.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across procurement functions.
- Support automation initiatives for SLA monitoring, reporting, and supplier governance.
Required Skills & Competencies
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations Management, Law, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of professional experience within procurement, supplier management, contract management, vendor governance, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance and contractual compliance.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, supplier scorecards, and performance monitoring frameworks.
- Experience producing management reports and analyzing supplier performance data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and matrix environments.
- Knowledge of procurement lifecycle and supplier management best practices.
Preferred
- Experience working within large multinational, shared services, telecommunications, technology, or complex operational environments.
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as Oracle or similar systems.
- Experience using procurement technologies, spend analytics solutions, or eSourcing platforms.
- Understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and supplier governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience supporting procurement transformation programmes.
