What You'll Do
As a key member of our Claims team, you will:
Lead & Support Claims Excellence
- Partner closely with the Claims Manager to manage end-to-end international medical claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.
- Analyze claims data, monitor trends, and help strengthen our claims governance and control frameworks.
Drive Projects & Innovation
- Support and contribute to exciting initiatives—including system enhancement, process optimization, and digital transformation projects.
Empower & Train Talent
- Coach and mentor junior team members, elevating their knowledge of medical products, insurance principles, and claims assessment.
Collaborate Across Borders
- Liaise with global service providers, hospital administrators, and emergency assistance partners to coordinate pre-authorization and emergency support.
- Work hand-in-hand with emergency assistance companies to manage urgent cases—even outside standard office hours when required.
Deliver Expert Claims Assessment
- Review, adjudicate, and approve claims aligned with policy terms and internal guidelines.
- Make informed decisions efficiently within your approval authority while maintaining professional service turnaround times.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 7 years of solid experience in medical insurance claims operations.
- Strong understanding of insurance fundamentals and medical terminology.
- Professional designations such as FLMI / FLHC or para-medical qualifications (e.g., registered nurse, pharmacist, physiotherapist) are highly advantageous.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Candidates with less experience or medical-related academic backgrounds may be considered for Senior Claims Officer.
