AI Presales Engineer

As an AI Presales Engineer you will play a key role in bringing these solutions to life - working directly with enterprise customers, understanding their business challenges and designing innovative AI architectures that deliver measurable value.

You will combine hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement, solution design and commercial presales, taking AI opportunities from initial discovery through to demonstrations, proof of concepts and technical proposals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Engage with enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for AI adoption
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business requirements into innovative AI solutions
• Design enterprise AI architectures using LLMs, Generative AI, RAG and agentic workflows
• Develop and deliver technical demonstrations, prototypes and proof of concepts
• Work alongside sales and account management teams to develop strategic customer opportunities
• Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFQs, including solution proposals, BOQs, BOMs and project estimates
• Present solution architectures and technical recommendations to senior stakeholders and C-level executives
• Advise customers on AI integration, scalability, security, data privacy and cloud infrastructure

Technical Experience:

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of AI technologies and practical experience developing or architecting AI-powered solutions.

Core technical skills:

• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Generative AI
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Python programming and AI development
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI agents, orchestration and workflow automation
• Enterprise solution architecture and technical integration

Hands-on experience with at least ONE of the following:

• Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Azure AI Foundry
• LangChain
• LangGraph
• CrewAI
• Microsoft AutoGen
• Google Vertex AI Agent Builder
• Amazon Bedrock Agents

What We're Looking For:

• 5–7+ years' experience in AI Presales, Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture or a similar technical role
• Practical experience working with Python, LLMs and AI technologies
• Experience designing AI solutions, technical demonstrations and proof of concepts
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and presentations
• Experience supporting RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, technical proposals and commercial solution development
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technology into business value
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline
