Role Overview

The Technical Sales Specialist – Storage Solutions is responsible for promoting and architecting enterprise storage technologies, including flash systems, hyperconverged infrastructure, safeguarded copy, and data protection solutions. The role focuses on enabling clients to modernize data storage, protection, and AI workloads across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and technical sales of enterprise storage platforms.


• Design end-to-end storage architectures for mission-critical workloads, including virtualization, container platforms, ERP systems, and AI/ML.


• Conduct client workshops, proof-of-concepts, and demos highlighting data resilience, performance, and cyber-recovery features.


• Collaborate with compute, cloud, and data teams to deliver integrated storage and compute solutions.


• Prepare technical proposals, bills of quantities, and sizing sheets in response to RFPs.


• Advise clients on data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and ransomware resilience strategies.


• Work with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• 5+ years of experience in storage architecture or pre-sales roles.


• Deep knowledge of enterprise storage technologies and related software.


• Understanding of NVMe, Fibre Channel/iSCSI, tiering, and replication technologies.


• Experience with storage integration in containerized or virtualized environments.


• Relevant certifications in storage technical sales or implementation preferred.


• Excellent client engagement, documentation, and presentation skills.


• Familiarity with pricing models for storage portfolio components.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in data resilience and cyber-recovery projects within government or enterprise sectors.


• Strong collaboration skills with cross-domain teams (Compute, AI, Cloud).


• Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
