Mobileum Case Study

Mobileum Inc. is a software vendor based in California, USA, delivering Big Data, Analytics and Roaming solutions predominantly into the Mobile Network Operator and Carrier space across the Globe. They have offices in Brussels, Bangalore, Dublin, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Singapore, Uruguay and Argentina and operate in a variety of other locations.

The Challenge

Mobileum initially shared a brief with First Point Group for two Sales VPs for Latin America; one to be based in Mexico and one to be based in Brazil.

The first challenge we faced is that Mobileum were seeking a highly skilled Sales candidate with experience of their specific domain; Big Data and Analytics, this meant finding a candidate who not only had the requisite sales skills, but also had a technical understanding and also existing contacts with target clients.

One of the key challenges that First Point Group faced is that Big Data and Analytics is a huge growth market at the moment and as a result of this, potential candidates had a plethora of other opportunities presented to them by companies and other head-hunters as business from all over the world who were seeking to invest resource into these areas.

The Solution

The solution that First Point Group provided to Mobileum came in a few different stages. At first we presented Mobileum with a long list of target candidates who we had qualified against the job brief for both roles. The team at Mobileum then selected their preferred three candidates for both roles.

After a thorough interview & negotiation process the selected candidates were hired and have since become key members of the senior sales team at Mobileum Inc.

Since successfully providing a solution to the above challenges, we have been working with Mobileum extensively throughout the globe, placing a further candidate in a similar high level sales role in Russia and have also supported them in the APAC region.
