FPG are recruiting for a Chartered Structural Manager on behalf of our client, a leading telecom service provider and engineering organisation. They are looking to employ someone full time. Remote based is fine, with occasional travel required to areas of UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- This is a job for a fully chartered Structural/Civil Engineer to be responsible for structural sign off on telecom tower sites within UK and Ireland. We are looking for someone with experience carrying out detailed structural analysis on steel and concrete structures.
- Health and Safety is paramount importance in all aspects of design and development work, and so must be a cornerstone of the way you work.
- This role will involve performing detailed structural surveys and compiling survey reports, and close working with project managers and the design department.
- You will act as a client representative, and will attend meetings with clients and contractors
Key experience required
- 5 + years e experience in the telecommunications industry
- Structural / Civil Engineering with a Structural focus
- Member of EI or other professional body with Chartered Engineering status
- Design consultancy experience in telecoms industry
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software and structural analysis tools including MasterSeries, MStower / STAAD.
