Regional Media & Advertising Lead | Dubai


Responsibilities:

  • Develop winning media strategies aligned with marketing goals and target audience.
  • Oversee media buying, negotiating placements and ad formats to maximize reach and impact.
  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Conduct research to understand target audience demographics, media habits, and market trends to inform media planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define campaign objectives, messaging, and creative assets for consistent brand communication.
  • Manage relationships with media vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate proposals to secure optimal placements and cost efficiencies.
  • Partner with the analytics team to interpret media performance data for campaign optimization and stakeholder reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics (impressions, frequency, click-through rates, conversion rates) to optimize campaigns and achieve results.
  • Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to maximize their potential.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within an agency or Mobile devices industry.
  • Knowledge of media landscape, trends, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successful media campaigns, demonstrating the ability to drive results and achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in managing media budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of various media channels and platforms, including traditional media (TV, radio, print) and digital media (display, search, social).
  • Proficiency in using media planning and analytics tools, such as Nielsen, ComScore, Google Analytics, and social media ad platforms.
  • Solid project management skills to effectively manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience with managing and leading a team of media professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior to develop effective media strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
