First Point Group have a long-term extendable contract opportunity for a RAN Designer with experience in indoor designs / DAS / iBwave / small cells. This opportunity is for an RF Planner (3G / 4G / 5G) that has enough experience to liaise with external 3rd party partners to ensure the delivery of our client's objectives. Remote work can be considered but the candidate must live and work in Belgium due to potential visits to our client's office. We are particularly interested in applicants with working experience at Tech Mahindra, ZTE, Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, BASE, Telenet or any other similar operator / vendor but we can also welcome candidates that are coming from outside of Belgium.

Responsibilities
• RF planning for Indoor Designs
• To drive 3rd party partners and secure delivery of target objectives.
• Good experience in Indoor is a must - looking to site construction design, overall process understanding and radio asset.
• Support the nominal planning, candidate selection and site surveys up to site acceptance.
• Calculate and determine network impact for coverage and capacity expansions.
• Evaluate (drive) test data to identify performance issues.
• Recommend RF solutions and carrying out changes to improve site performance.
• Support coverage requests.
• Support Site Share & Courtesy requests.
• Support RF system introduction process.
Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in the RF planning field with any vendor experience – Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei or ZTE
• Specialized in RF Planning and Optimisation (GSM, UMTS, LTE)
• Familiar with RF planning / mobile operator roll-out process
• Experiences in RF hardware configurations and system updates/upgrades.
• Knowledge of tools e.g. Atoll, iBwave, Mapinfo, etc.
• Strong analytical skills to determine radio network impact in changing environments
• Works independent, but is also a team player
• Responsible, Service minded, flexible, taking initiatives
• Result oriented and customer focused
• Process oriented and quality driven
