NetAct SME Subject Matter Expertise

Overview:

NetAct SME provides expert level support to Network Operators and acts as Subject Matter Expert for operations requiring technical added value on Nokia NetAct domain.Person should carry out proactive analyses in order to improve network performance and assist the planning and development of the customer?s service and network solution.This role will also be acting as the interface between the operation team and the vendor-specific maintenance and advance support teams.

Key Objectives:

  • Daily checks activities.
  • Daily operations and modifications activities.
  • Level 2 activities.
  • Customer Complaints handling.
  • Integrating New Network Elements
  • Assisting Field Intervention for HW replacement
  • Support and coordinate with other teams(Core, VAS, DN, SKC etc.)in troubleshooting problems that might require RAN traces, logs or reports / KPIs.
  • Data collections needed for the raised cases.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as Nokia NetAct administrator.
  • Customer Focus
  • Communication Skills in English
  • Process and procedures orientation
  • Problem-solving skills.

Recruitment Synopsis:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Administrator-level knowledge in Linux.
  • Good TCP/IP knowledge
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) – (Preferable)
  • Cisco CCNA or Juniper certification (Preferable)
  • Good knowledge in SQL
  • Good knowledge in a shell script
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and “on-call” basis.
