Our client is looking to hire an IP Networking Engineer (Advanced) to work in Germany. Mostly remote, with 20% at the office in Frankfurt.

Languages: English (fluent), German (beneficial)
IT-Experience 10 years+
Homebase 80% remote / 20% on-site (Germany, Frankfurt)
Duration: 6 months

Conception, Planning & Design IP Networking
Very good knowledge of the following Technologies:
IP network connectivity in Datacenter (DC) environments
BGP Design, Route Reflector, Internet Gateways IGW, Transit, Peering
QoS, VoIP Integration, DiffServ, IntServ, Classifying, Scheduling, Marking, Queuing
Carrier Scale Networks, MPLS Backbone, RSVP-TE and LDP, VPN Services L2VPN,
L3VPN, VPLS, Carrier Grade Infrastructure (IP), Carrier Grade NAT, BRAS/BNG solutions
Security, Encryption, IPSec, Access-List, Filter, Firewalls

L3 Technologies
Very good knowledge in the area of all L3 Technologies:
BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Segment routing
Other routing protocols (RIPv2, EIGRP, PBR), BFD

MPLS Technologies
Very good knowledge in MPLS Technologies:
LDP, RSVP-TE, L2VPN, EVPN, L3VPN

Security
Very good knowledge in different Firewall technologies and security analysis:
Filter, Adaptive Filter, Zone modeling
VoIP through Firewall technologies, Securing Router, Thread analysis, DDoS & DoS mitigation

Very good knowledge in different tunnel Implementations:
IPSec, GRE tunnelling

Network Management
