We are hiring for a leading client in the UAE in finding a Senior FPGA Engineer mainly in satellite, wireless and communication industries This role involves designing and testing advanced communication algorithms for FPGAs and Embedded Processors on an RTOS in Satellite and communication industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test high-speed, real-time communication algorithms for FPGAs and/or Embedded Processors.
- Convert system requirements into FPGA and Embedded SW architectures.
- Implement algorithms using RTL (VHDL, System Verilog) and/or Embedded C/C++.
- Work with Systems Integration and Test Engineering teams to ensure functional designs.
- Contribute to the development of advanced communication system architectures.
- Create test plans to validate performance against specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
- 10+ years in a similar role with strong technical expertise.
Key Skills:
- FPGA Design, VHDL, SystemVerilog, C/C++ programming.
- Experience with VxWorks, FreeRTOS, UC OS III.
- FPGA/DSP/CPU boards bring up, Embedded Systems, Embedded SW Development.
- RTOS, JTAG, SW Tracing, Profiling.
Desirable:
- Experience with ARM Cortex-A53/A9, Jira, Git.
- Knowledge of Wireless technology, Satellite, communication, or Avionics sectors.
