Customer Service Representative – Indonesian Bahasa Speaker (Malaysia)
About the Role
A fast-growing global financial services organization is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support Indonesian-speaking clients. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer experiences, resolving inquiries efficiently, and maintaining high service standards in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate information on products, services, and processes
- Resolve client issues effectively and escalate complex cases when needed
- Support onboarding activities, including account opening and updates
- Handle complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and improve processes
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify recurring issues and recommend service or process enhancements
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Indonesian Bahasa
- Previous customer service experience (multichannel support preferred)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (including nights and weekends)
- Strong attention to detail and professional phone etiquette
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or brokerage environments
- Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader)
- Interest in financial markets
