Environmental Policy

The following is a brief summary of First Point Group's environmental policy:

Office equipment and furniture: Within our office environment our equipment employs energy-saving technology and is re-used where possible. Our furniture is made without using tropical hardwoods.

Energy use: First Point uses modern heating and air-conditioning equipment, set to optimise energy use.
Stationery and brochures: First Point has taken a number of initiatives to minimise the impact of producing promotional material and its distribution process. We also have a policy in place to migrate normal business processes from paper-based to electronic providing us with both environmental and commercial benefits.

Transport: We have a programme to reduce the impact of travel by our staff and commuting by our office-based people.

Waste: We have a basic programme to recycle where practical.

Ozone-depleting substances: These are being phased out and are already avoided wherever possible.

Awareness: A policy is in place whereby all First Point staff are aware of the environmental policy.
